Things To Do

With the wedding falling on Columbus Day weekend, we're excited to share some of our favorite places around New Jersey and NYC. Please be sure to check all websites for Covid and safety regulations/rules.

Hoboken

Hoboken, NJ

Our home since 2017 and we are still loving it. So many great restaurants, cafes and shopping. You can't beat the waterfront views of NYC plus you can follow the waterfront all the way to Liberty State Park. While Hoboken is well known at the home of Carlo's Bakery we prefer Old German Bakery... We have only listed our absolute favorite places but we have plenty of other recommendations or check out Hoboken Girl (link below).

Ridgewood

Ridgewood, NJ 07450

The village of Ridgewood is a cute little town, close to the hotel, that has a bit of everything. A favorite for boutique shopping, great restaurants, parks, movie theater, any last minute needs and trains to NYC and Hoboken. We specifically suggest Finca Tapas and East Coast Burger Co.

Demarest Farms

Demarest Farms

244 Werimus Road, Hillsdale, NJ 07642
, (201) 666-0472

Great place to pick apples and pumpkins in the fall. Plus the market has fresh fruits, veggies and other goodies like apple cider and fresh donuts.

Ramapo Valley County Reservation

Ramapo Valley County Reservation

608 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430
, (201) 327-3500
Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve

Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve

1 Nature Preserve Way, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417
, (201) 891-0048
Antique Bar & Bakery

Antique Bar & Bakery

122 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, NJ 07030
, (201) 683-7028

Our favorite Hoboken restaurant! Don't forget to order a cocktail.

Elysian Cafe

Elysian Cafe

1001 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
, (201) 798-5898

Another Hoboken favorite with a great brunch and wine menu! Plus outdoor dining.

Central Park

Central Park

New York, NY
, (212) 310-6600

While Central Park is well known for Shakespeare in the Park, the Central Park Zoo and Museum Mile however we will always know it as the place where we got engaged! Great place to visit in the fall with classic NY spots and landmarks all close by.

For all the days along the way
