Answer

The ceremony will take place outside in the garden area, due to this some important information is noted below. No food or drink is allowed inside the museum at any time. Do not bring any confetti, glitter, rice, birdseed, or any other objects that may be tossed in the air or leave behind any litter.

This is a phone free ceramony

Answer

We know you want to take lots of pictures and videos to help remember such a beautiful day but we kindly ask that you silence and put away phones during the ceremony. You are more than welcome to take as many pictures and videos during the cocktail hour.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes, light hor dourves and drinks will be served. If you have any major food allergies please let us know.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No, but funeral attire is strongly encouraged

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Unless your RSVP has a slot for a plus 1 we ask you do not bring another other than yourself. We want our ceremony to close friends and family only. Please contact us if have any questions.

Can I bring my child?

Answer

We love your children but due to our venue being at a historic museum, we have decided that this will be a child-free wedding. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Can I smoke/vape in the venue?

Answer

No, the venue, even though we will be outside is smoke/vape free. If you wish to smoke/vape you can do so in the Poe Museum parking lot.

Where can I park?

Answer

Poe Museum has a small parking lot located at the corner of 20th and E. Main streets. Street parking is available on all of the streets surrounding the Museum.
