We met through people we both know suggesting that we go out! I (Allyson) was on vacation in New Hampshire. After being told I was in town, Connor called and asked me to go to a movie night with him and a group of friends. We watched Avatar and ate Chinese food! About a week later, we set up our first official date. We walked a rail trail near Rindge, NH and went for ice cream! We talked the entire time ❤️

In the couple of weeks that followed, we went on several more adventures together - an escape room, rollerskating, movies, and a baseball game! The Saturday before I would be leaving to return home, we planned another date to go to a movie at the drive in theater in Northfield, MA. We watched The Three Stooges and Elvis before Connor drove me back to where I was staying. On the drive back, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes!!! This began a year of long distance dating as we both traveled back and forth between Massachusetts and North Carolina ❤️

On the anniversary of when Connor asked me to be his girlfriend, we went on a date in Shelburne, MA. We walked the Flowering Bridge and had breakfast at the Foxtown Diner. After breakfast, we drove to Ashfield to walk to Chapel Falls. There are two bridges below the falls and when we got to the second one, Connor said he was going to get some water. I was turned around looking at the water. When I turned back to face him, Connor was down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I immediately hugged him and was jumping up and down so much I almost forgot to say yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in March!
