Gold Mountain Golf Club
Although this is where our wedding will take place, it is also a public 18-hole golf course, so definitely try it out if you feel like a day of golfing!
Historic Downtown Poulsbo
We love walking around downtown Poulsbo. It's about a 20-30 minute drive from the city of Bremerton. There are great views of the water and cute shops and restaurants to explore! Chase also loves the Nordic inspiration.
Silver City Brewery
This brewery and taproom is only open to guests 21+ and is open from 12 - 8 pm Monday through Saturday, and 12 - 7 pm on Sundays.
USS Turner Joy
This museum is open from 10 am - 5 pm every day. Adult general admission tickets are $18, youth ages 13-17 are $13, ages 5-12 are $11, and children 4 and under are free.
Puget Sound Navy Museum
This navy museum is free to visit and is open Mondays, and Wednesdays through Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm.
Kitsap Mall
This the local mall with shops and restaurants to enjoy. It is about a 15-20 minute drive from the city of Bremerton. We like the margaritas at Moctezuma's and checking out the different critters at Paradox Reptiles & Exotics.
Elandan Gardens
These botanical gardens are open Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. General admission is $10 for adults and $1 for children 6-12 years old.
Bremerton Bug & Reptile Museum
This small museum has a collection of snakes, lizards and insects and is a fun activity for kids to enjoy. It’s free to visit and is open from 10 am to 5 pm every day.
Rodeo Drive-In Theatre
Although we are partial to the drive-in in Port Townsend, this is also an outdoor, drive-in movie theatre that is open Fridays through Sundays. Adult general admission tickets are $12, seniors ages 55 and up are $7, kids 12 and under are $7, and kids under 5 are free. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.
Pacific Avenue & 4th Street
There are a handful of restaurants, bars, and shops along these two streets in Bremerton, including Quarters Arcade, a record store called Bigfoot’s House of Vinyl, and The Game Wizard and Blue Sky Hobbies. This store is a board game, collectible card game, and miniatures store with an espresso bar, and a wine and beer bar located downstairs in the gaming area.
