During the fall semester of college in 2021, our mutual friend had posted me on her social media story. Later that same week Conley had reached out to her saying how he thought I was cute and asked for my socials. She said and I quote "no way stay away from my roommate, she's off limits". Conley took that as a challenge and managed to get my socials and number, and messaged me. Over the next week or so we got to know each other and decided to meet in person. From that day on, we were inseparable.

About a week or so before the annual Wilhelm family beach trip, Conley told me that he wanted to get some nice photos of us at the beach since his brother's girlfriend was into photography and bringing her camera. I agreed and said that was a fun idea since we didn't have any nicer photos of us. He later requested that I wear white and I thought nothing of it since that was typical beach photo attire. Flash forward to the day of photos at the beach, we begin by me taking some photos of Conley's brother and his girlfriend. It was now Conley and I's turn. We took some simple photos and finished with a basic "walking away" picture per my request. As we were walking back and chatting, under the impression that we were done, I noticed that his brother's girlfriend was still taking photos of us. As I turned to ask Conley why she was still taking photos, he was stopping and reaching for his back pocket. He proceed to drop down to one knee and ask me to marry him. It was the sweetest surprise on the beautiful morning beach.
