Our love is our own. It has been a fairytale for both of us in many ways. We could never put into words the deep foundation of friendship, love and trust that we've built for this marriage...but we tried to sum it up below :) Back in 2014, Hilary knew she loved Trevor the moment he pulled over on a horse farm after driving home from Keeneland one day because she said she wanted to play with the horses. They pulled over and hopped the fence on the most beautiful, crisp, sunny October day you can imagine. Fast forward a couple of months, Trevor knew he loved Hilary on their first date. Sounds cliche, but sometimes there are moments in life that just make sense and this was one of them. Then, they dated for (literally) 3 weeks before Hilary left to live in Australia for 6 months. Yet, to everyone's huge surprise, they decided to stay together. They choose to believe that they both knew that this love story was one they wanted to see through. Trevor and Hilary have chosen to approach their relationship as one that is chosen every day. One that needs dedicated time and attention. One that feels effortless and simple, but one that is ever-evolving. One that changes and grows with them. One that is active and true. They have a love story they build every day, and are so excited to share this chapter of it with you.

It was quite the year for us, to say the least. Hilary, nice and distracted by major life changes like finding a new job & buying a house, was completely unsuspecting when Trevor surprised her on our closing day by walking into our brand new home with a BIG question! Needless to say, I said yes and our little home in St. Matthews will now forever be the place where we started our journey to marriage together. We're still not sure how we're ever going to move now!
