On a short weekend trip to Flagstaff, AZ, we decided that we had to conquer Humphrey’s Peak again. A 4.8 mile hike to the summit. While I was trying to battle off an awful head cold I think I did well keeping up... until about 100 yards from the top. The snow was starting to melt so it was slippery. I kept falling down and Colton had to come back and help me get up and stay motivated to finish. Courtney flew into Flag real late and we debated climbing the mountain but I forced the issue! She started complaining about the snow but we were so close and she slid down about 20 feet. After she threw snow and cried for a hot second I told her it was our goal and we needed to accomplish it. After I popped the question I told her that whole adventure was a metaphor for life and that this meant she would push herself through the hard parts of life with me, she simply rolled her eyes and agreed.
Dimes. The Museum Club. Flagstaff, AZ. My friend, Alisa, and I decided to go to Dimes and dance our boots off. We got a little tipsy off of the 10¢ beers and started falling all over the dance floor. Some boys.. Austin and Colton, approached us and asked if they could dance with us. Colton asked me to dance, and Austin asked my girlfriend to dance. After a song or two Colton asked for my number. I accidentally gave him one extra number at the end of my phone number (I blame the beer). The next morning he decided to text me and asked his friend, Chris, how to resolve the phone number problem. He suggested deleting the last number, and that is when he texted me “hey remember me from last night?”
