Getting to Milos

There are a few options to get to Milos: - The simplest is to fly to Athens and then take a short flight to Milos - You can take a ferry from Athens to Milos. Note that the ferry terminal is 1h away from the Athen airport and the ferry 4-5h - You can chose to travel to a popular island first (i.e. Santorini, Mykonos) and take a ferry or speed boat to Milos from there As you may know, flying within Europe is quite affordable. You may want to consider flying to one of the major cities (i.e. London, Paris) and then fly into Athens to save some money. When I went to Greece, the most cost effective option for me was to fly Vancouver to Paris, then take a bus to a small Paris airport where I took a direct flight to Santorini. This could potentially be an interesting route for one of you as you could spend a night or two in Santorini before the wedding! The schedule for the flights from Athens to Milos is not available yet.

Il y a quelques options pour se rendre à Milos: - Le plus simple est de voler à Athènes puis de prendre un vol court pour Milos - Vous pouvez prendre un ferry d'Athènes à Milos. Notez que le terminal de ferry est à 1h de l'aéroport d'Athen et que le ferry prend 4-5h. - Vous pouvez choisir de vous rendre d'abord sur une île populaire (Santorin, Mykonos), puis de prendre un ferry ou un bateau rapide pour vous rendre à Milos. Voyager entre les pays d'Europe est abordable. Vous voudrez peut-être envisager de vous rendre dans l’une des grandes villes (Londres, Paris), puis à Athènes pour économiser des sous. Par exemple, vous pourriez décider de prendre un vol Montreal-Paris et un autre Paris-Athènes parce que ca pourrait être moins cher que de se rendre à Athènes directement. L'horaire des vols entre Athènes et Milos n'est pas encore disponible.

Where to stay

Collin & I as well as our immediate family will be staying at Milo Milo Suites from June 29 to July 3. We will have the hotel to ourselves so it can serve as a meeting point throughout our time there together. (PS. they are adding a pool). This area is called Mandrakia. I have scooted many options around us if you wish to stay nearby. Once you RSVP, I will be in touch to make a couple hotel recommendations - one is added below.

Collin & moi, ainsi que notre famille immédiate, resterons au Milo Milo Suites du 29 juin au 3 juillet. Nous aurons l’hôtel à nous seul donc il pourra servir de point de rencontre tout au long de notre séjour ensemble. (PS. Ils ajoutent une piscine!). Cette zone s'appelle Mandrakia. J'ai trouvé beaucoup d'options autour de nous si vous souhaitez rester à proximité. Une fois que vous aurez confirmé votre présence, je vous recontacterai pour vous faire quelques recommandations hôtelières - l'une d'entre elles est ajoutée ci-dessous.

This hotel is the sister accommodation of the hotel we are doing the wedding at. It is 2.4km away from Milo Milo. Please let us know if you would like to stay there as we will likely be able to get a discounted group rate. Cet hôtel appartient au même propriétaire que l'hôtel où nous organisons le mariage.
