Our love story began in the beautiful White Mountains of Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, thanks to the adventurous spirit of our family & friends as well as a little sprinkle of fate. It all started when Collin's cousin and Chandlers sorority sister, Kelly Andrews, organized a sorority weekend trip to Collin's dad's house in New Hampshire. Little did we know, this trip would change the course our lives. Collin had heard about this trip through his other cousin, David Whelen, and was encouraged to join the party for the weekend. After we were introduced, we hit it off immediately and stayed up all night talking that first night. There was an undeniable connection that blossomed over the long chats, great food (who remembers the Great Shrimp Cook off of 2019?), dance lessons, and a few too many games of stack cup. The weekend would come to an end but our relationship was just getting started! Chandler lived in Austin Texas at the time, and Collin resided just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Yet, distance couldn't deter the spark that had ignited between us. Ove the next few months, we continued to keep in touch via texts and daily facetime calls, sharing stories, dreams and even going on "dates" to see movies in our respective cities and then discussing them for hours. When it became clear that our connection was something truly special, Chandler asked Collin if she could come visit him in Boston for their "First Date." From then on, the distance, instead of being a barrier, only made us cherish the moments we had with each other more. We were travelling back and forth to see each other every few weeks, sometimes meeting to explore a new city. Eventually Chandler moved to Washington DC and Collin soon followed. Sure enough, we realized that we were meant to journey through life hand in hand in marriage. Collin proposed to Chandler the week of their 4th anniversary in the very place that they first met, under the fireworks in Bretton Woods, NH. Today, as we stand on the brink of forever, we look back on that serendipitous weekend in Bretton Woods, where destiny brought us together. We're eternally grateful to our cousins Kelly and David for being the catalysts of our love story. Our love for each other continues to grow, and we can't wait to embark on this incredible journey as husband and wife.
