In 2016, Collin was living in Boulder and going to school at University of Colorado for Physics while Kylie was in Denver finishing up her prerequisites for Nursing school. Despite attending different schools in different cities, one fateful night their friends successfully set the two of them up to meet during a night out. Where might this meeting take place? None other than Denver’s own X Bar, a popular gay bar. Who would have guessed it? After a couple of drinks Kylie worked up the courage to introduce herself to Collin and was delighted to discover that Collin was, as she put it, “not only hot, but so sweet and kind”. They hit it off talking about the classes they were taking, nerding out about chemistry classes and the rest from there was history. Collin and Kylie ended up commuting for roughly a year before moving in together in Boulder while they both finished up their schooling. After finishing school they purchased a house together in Coal Creek Canyon outside of Boulder where they now live with their full house of animal and reptile companions. Four dogs, Ivy, Jack Jack, Harley, and Tala, their cat Mr. Freeze, gecko Lizzo, and 2 snakes, David Boa and Rafa. Kylie and Collin love spending time up in their home cabin oasis, snowboarding, riding dirt bikes, paddle boarding, and visiting their favorite restaurants. They both have a passion for music and regularly attend concerts and festivals together. Collin loves playing his violin, guitars, and congas with his two bands Sun Juice and Frankly. While you can catch Kylie playing with her buugengs (flow toys) and dancing along. They both have a big appetite for adventure and love traveling to new spots, diving, and exploring together. Their favorite trip they have been on so far was to Phuket, Thailand where they visited for 6 weeks. But, anyone who knows the fun loving couple knows they will never turn down a trip to Mexico! They are excited to celebrate their wedding surrounded by friends and family in the beautiful Colorado mountains this summer and toast to a lifetime of memories ahead.
