Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

RSVP's have been sent out via e-mail, one e-mail per family/household. Please check your junk folders too. If you have not yet received this, let us know, and we will re-send!

Question

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

We hope that you are able to celebrate with us! Please ensure that RSVP's, along with menu choices are sent to us no later than 8th June - this will ensure we have enough time to notify our venue & vendors of final numbers. If you are unable to successfully RSVP before the deadline, it will automatically mark you as 'not attending' and you will not be included in final numbers.

Question

What Food Will Be Served?

Answer

For day guests, a three-course meal will be served at 4:30pm, after the ceremony and drinks reception - menu selections can be submitted via the link sent in your e-mail, alongside the RSVP's. For evening guests, a hog roast buffet will be served from 8:30pm to give you some fuel for the dancefloor! Please ensure that any dietary requirements are flagged when you select your menu, the staff are more than welcome to accommodate - if there are any concerns that you may have, please drop us a message and I can liaise directly with the venue to give you peace of mind. Starters: Rare Beef Tataki, Honey, Charred Leek Negi Shio & Nori Seasoned Straw Potatoes. Smoked Cheddar Croquette, Sweet Chilli Jam & Frisse. Onion & Shallot Tarte Tatin, Onion Soubise, Dressed Rocket & Walnut Salad. Desserts: Gypsy Tart & Whipped Vanilla Clotted Cream. Summer Berry Pavlova, Whipped Mascarpone Cream, Berry Compote, Fresh Berries & Toasted Flaked Almonds. Children’s Menu: Cheese & Tomato Pizza Served with Chips and Salad.

Question

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm. Arrival to the venue at 1:30pm would be ideal, but please ensure that you arrive no later than 1:45pm to ensure that you have enough time to find your seat without interrupting. Any late-comers will be unable to join the ceremony, but we look forward to having a drink with you at the reception!

Question

Can I Take Photos?

Answer

The more pictures and videos, the merrier! We look forward to seeing our big day documented by the people that we love the most, especially the messy ones... We kindly request that all mobile phones are kept out of sight during our unplugged ceremony. We have an amazing photographer who will be capturing this moment, no ugly crying please x

Question

Is everything held at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! From the ceremony to the dancefloor, all of the celebrations will be held on site at Cooling Castle Barn.

Question

Are there hotels nearby?

Answer

Please click on the 'Places To Stay' tab above which will show you the options nearest to the venue, with click through links, for ease of booking. There are still a handful of rooms available to book on site - please contact Cooling Castle Barn directly, or drop us a message so we can send you a link & passcode to book.

Question

Is there parking on site at the venue?

Answer

There is a large carpark which is able to accommodate all guests cars and has enough room for taxi drop offs and pick ups.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only names that are listed within the RSVP e-mail invite are included in our final numbers - unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any plus ones.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Of course! Children are included within RSVP e-mails sent. Please be mindful during the ceremony. We politely request that if there are any disruptions, we would appreciate you discreetly vacating the pavilion with your child until the ceremony is complete. We also kindly request, no children the dancefloor during our first dance - but we would certainly love to have a boogie with them when it's time to party!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want to see you all looking glam! Don't feel like you need to wear a full tux, but please no jeans and t-shirts. It goes without saying, please refrain from wearing white, ivory or cream... otherwise you will be finding yourself covered in red wine before the night is over ;) haha

Question

Honeymoon Fund

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, if you should wish to contribute to our honeymoon fund, we would be eternally grateful.

For all the days along the way
