Colleen and Vickram first met unromantically during roll call in Mademoiselle Delory's sixth grade homeroom. A fiery academic rivalry blossomed. Their first taste of collaboration came in high school putting their heads together to lead an extracurricular team to countless victories. An early and competent young driver, Colleen often gave Vickram rides around their hometown where they first learned to share control of the radio dial. They left for college with hearts full of respect and admiration for each other. A barely-hidden motivation for both of their homecoming socializing was to run into each other, and their mutual friends were always happy to arrange. As they neared graduation, they agreed it would be better to be in love. For the next two years they nourished the relationship with high-octane love weekends sprinkled throughout the calendar year, and several phone calls a day. Colleen and Vickram found their way to living together in Madison, Wisconsin where they discovered many shared passions from the road trip to move there, to the delights of cooking with fresh ingredients from the farmer's market to name two. Perennially students, they graduated again and then selected a new venue for life in Oakland, California in 2019, where they continue to hang out and be in love. We feel as though nothing brings us happiness like sharing all of the good stuff we like with everyone we know. We can't wait to see you at the wedding!
