We can't wait to Celebrate!

Thank goodness for Twitter and good friends! Back in 2012, I was scrolling through my Twitter feed and saw a picture of a guy I had never seen before. I texted our mutual friend, shout out to Drew Radke, asking 'Who is that?!" He told me that it was Jordan Farris and I knew I had to meet him. On St. Patrick's Day in 2013, my friend Kelsey Manas and I were at CMU and Jordan was at MSU enjoying the day. I asked Kelsey if she should "tweet at him" and Kelsey promoted this. Later in the afternoon, Drew called me, but it was Jordan on the other end. And I was hype!! After a few weeks of talking, we finally met each other at one of Jordan's slow pitch softball games in East Lansing. I was walking up to the field when a ground ball was hit right towards him at shortstop. The ball went directly through his legs... PUT YOUR GLOVE DOWN. Embarrassing!! He claims he hit "a bomb" right before I walked up, but I only saw the pop up to first base. We spent the summer getting to know each other more and as the years passed, we became inseparable. Building new relationships with wonderful friends and family and creating lifelong memories. Our love grew stronger and we knew we would end up together. After seven wonderful, loving years, Jordan proposed on February 1, 2020 at our home in Holt with our favorite little dog, Lola. We are so blessed to have one another to support and love, day in and out. We want to thank each of you for playing a special part in our love story. We can't wait for the big day!!
