Colleen took a huge leap of faith coming to the Northwest to chase a wine dream. John had, also, dreamt of making wine the focus of his career. What we did not realize, through our professional network of food & fine wine that we would also fall in love. We had known each other for two years, and one fateful December night we ended up at a party together. After hanging out for the evening, Colleen told John, "This is the point of the night where you ask me on a date." Then, she opened her phone to find the calendar... The rest is history.

John planned a number of grand gestures aiming to show Colleen just how much she means to him. As planning goes, it turns out the simplest gesture in the most beautiful place was the most meaningful. Disguised as a "quick trip the coast," it was a gorgeous day at Cannon Beach including the unplanned giant heart in the sand - serendipitous, if you will. The moment was perfect and we will remember it forever. We are overjoyed to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Portland!
