El Gaucho Winery
The Texas hill country is home to many scenic wineries, and this one is an inspired by the owner's love for Argentina. The wine, decor and eats are all imported or inspired by the beautiful country. Jesse and I never made it out here for a date, but it is right up our alley, and we highly considered for our rehearsal dinner!
Austin
Austin, TX baby! If you have a spare day ahead or behind the event, take a tour around the city Jesse and I fell in love in! Lady Bird Lake has a beautiful, 10-mile walking trail. Grab a margarita at Chuy's off Barton Springs. Ride some electric scooters down 6th street and check out the music scene. Feel free to reach out to me if you're looking for some more recommendations!
Proof and Cooper at The Lumberyard
If you have time for a hill country drive, Johnson City is about 30 minutes outside of Spicewood, and Jesse and I spent an evening here looking at the extravagant town hall Christmas lights, browsing some eclectic art and wandering the streets of this cozy, Texas town.
Iron Wolf Ranch and Distillery
Near the venue is a beautiful distillery complete with bean bag toss and gin, if wine isn't your thing. We considered this location for our rehearsal dinner.
