What is the Dress Code?
Answer
Derby Attire Hats and All! Per the Turf Club *Dress code for this area is Business Casual- Do's: Jackets and blazers, vests, shirts with collars, sweaters, dresses, pantsuits, slacks and capri pants are appropriate. Don'ts: Jeans/denim, shorts, t-shirts, crop or midriff tops, athletic wear, swim wear, and flip-flops are all considered inappropriate attire & are not permitted in these areas.*

Are children allowed?

While we love kids we cannot include them in this celebration. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but look forward to having your undivided attention!

Is this venue indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our main area is indoors at the Turf Club. However there is outdoor access to watch the races near the Finish Line and to see the horses at the Paddock!

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes. The venue has elevators to accommodate.

Is this a Wedding Ceremony?
Answer
This is NOT a Ceremony- The Future Mr. and Mrs. have decided to hold a private ceremony with immediate family only on September 13, 2024. We look forward to celebrating the start of this new life together with our favorite people at this Celebration of Marriage. The day will be filled with Horse Racing, Food & Drinks, and memories in the making to commemorate this New Beginning!

Can we bring a gift?
Answer
Due to security at our venue gifts are not allowed inside. Your presence at our Celebration of Marriage is gift enough, but should you want to make a contribution to our Home & Honeymoon Fund we will be accepting cards only at Churchill Downs.

Where do we park?
Answer
Churchill Downs has provided their YELLOW Lot for us to park in.

Will there be food and drinks available?
Answer
A buffet option will be available if desired. The buffet will be open until 2pm however, the Bride and Groom will have His and Her's cake as well. The food is on us but the drinks are on you! Should you need a little liquid luck for horse racing there are multiple bar areas where you can order some!
