Where should I stay?

Answer

There are several hotels and Air B&B options in the area, but we recommend staying at our reception location, The Lodge at Leathem Smith, for your convenience. Please give them a call at 920-743-5555 to reserve a room in our room block.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

November in Wisconsin can be a bit unpredictable. Rain, snow, sun.. be prepared for anything. Daily temperatures are generally between 30-60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can I bring additional guests to the ceremony?

Answer

While we would love to have everyone at our ceremony, unfortunately, due to the occupancy limits of our chosen ceremony venue, we had to limit the amount of people in attendance and are unable to support additional guests inside the shelter. Guests that we are able to extend the invitation to our ceremony will be specified on their invitation. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the reception!

What should I do if I can't make it?

You will be missed! Please let us know as soon as possible by RSVPing "no" so we can plan accordingly.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is a large parking lot at the Lodge at Leathem Smith with no fee. For the ceremony, park at the lot by the visitors center at Whitefish Dunes. Let the park rangers know you are a guest at our wedding to get the group parking pass when you arrive.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time for childcare so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What food will be served? What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

There will be appetizers served during cocktail hour. Dinner will include made to order pasta with a variety of toppings cooked right in front of you, a salad station, and chicken. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in your RSVP.
