Travel Note
Located downtown, in what's referred to as the hotel district, we've chosen a "Trifecta" of beautiful hotels for our guests to consider. The Hyatt Regency, The Marriott Marquis, and the Hilton Atlanta are all great hotels with very affordable rates for our wedding weekend! While we envision the Hyatt Regency as being a central hub for our guests, depending on where your hotel loyalty lies, the Marriott Marquis and Atlanta Hilton are connected to the Hyatt Regency via skybridge. There are several other great options just footsteps away if you are looking to use rewards points from another chain! One reason we chose this "trifecta" that they are conveniently located. From the airport, they are just a 25-minute Uber ride or a 30-minute direct trip on Atlanta's transit system, MARTA. The hotels are also about 10 minutes from our Welcome Party and Wedding Venues.

We envision the Hyatt Regency as being a hub for hotel guests, as it's large but not overwhelming and has a few great food and beverage options within the hotel. While booking, we recommend comparing the rates with and without our group code: G-NOLT to ensure that you secure the best price. (Note from your points-obsessed Groom: For those of you with Hyatt or Chase points, rooms can be booked without our code for just 9,000 points per night!) Distance to venue: 10 minutes by car, not walkable Nearby attractions: World of Coke, Georgia Aquarium

The Marriott Marquis will be your most affordable option for accommodation we recommend. It is a massive structure, with 52 floors and over 1600 rooms. It is connected to The Hyatt Regency, The Hilton Downtown, and the Peachtree Center Food Court by sky bridge. Fun Fact: Connor stayed at the Marriott Marquis as a member of the UGA Basketball team during the 2011 SEC Tournament. Distance to venue: 10 minutes by car, not walkable Nearby attractions: World of Coke, Georgia Aquarium

Travel Note
Though the three hotels we recommend in downtown will be your most affordable options, the following are some additional hotels that you might consider. These hotels are smaller, with a lot of character, and in a more residential part of town.
Hotel
Built in 1924, Hotel Clermont has been a host to many characters and events— most good, some bad, all interesting. This hotel is smaller and situated off famous Atlanta road, Ponce de Leon Avenue. It lies between the neighborhoods of Inman Park and Virginia Highland, both filled with quaint streets, shopping, and an assortment of cool restaurants. Hotel Clermont is has an art-deco style, and houses one of the oldest lounges in its basement. It is quite the quirky establishment, but an Atlanta icon nonetheless!
Hotel
The Starling is located right near Piedmont Park and is an alternate option for guests who would prefer to stay in Midtown.
