We're Getting Married!

In 2020, when the world shut down, Cecilia decided to move to Cleveland Ohio officially to begin her career as an oncology nurse at Cleveland Clinic. Cecilia moved to the Edison apartment and that is when she first met Colin. During the hot summer months, with everything closed due to the pandemic, everyone hung out at the apartment pool. Cecilia saw Colin walk in with his Yeti cooler and knew immediately she wanted to get to know him. Cecilia and Colin began to hang out in the same friend group and attend Cleveland Browns games, hang at the pool, frequent brunch spots around Cleveland, and attend "family dinners". Cecilia always had a little crush since the first day she met him and the crush grew stronger the more she got to know Colin.

On December 27th, 2022 we went on a family ski trip to Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, NY. Little did Cecilia know Colin would be proposing! We had dinner plans that evening and before dinner we stopped at the infamous ZigZag Pub for a drink. When walking to the restaurant on Mirror Lake, we saw a beautiful Christmas tree and had to stop for pictures. When it was our turn to take a picture in front of the tree, Colin got down on one knee and popped the question!
