Incline Village is on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe and is about a 45min drive from the Reno / Tahoe Airport (RNO). This is a lovely, smaller airport with gambling and rental cars on premises (i.e. no awful Hertz shuttle). Alternatively, you can fly into Sacramento (SMF) which is ~2hrs from Incline. If you'd like to make a week out of it and see more of what the West Coast has to offer, Incline is approx: - 2.5hr drive from Yosemite - 3.5hr drive from Napa - 3.5hr drive from San Francisco (SFO or OAK) Note: Tahoe is very popular in the fall so make sure to book your lodging / flights early. Renting a car would be the easiest, but you can also reserve a seat on the North Lake Tahoe Express - Blue Route - for $49 per person. This is the pricier option, with the wedding discount it's $335 / night plus $40 resort fee but...it is a full resort (pool, private beach, casino, on-site dining). Airbnb's are a great & affordable option in Incline Village, however, Uber's / cabs are not prevalent so we will plan to have a few makeshift taxi's available the night of our wedding. BUT the rest of the weekend will require you to have a car with a DD or a love for long hikes (at high elevation, with the local wildlife) if you decide to book a house that isn't close to town :)
