Places to Visit

Our Favorite Places Most of the weekend will be filled with wedding festivities, but should you add a few days to your trip, we encourage you to check out these spots that made us fall in love with Maine.
Glidden Point Oyster Farms

Glidden Point Oyster Farms

637 River Road, Edgecomb, ME 04556

If you’re flying into Portland, and your arrival aligns with their operating hours, we recommend stopping here on your drive to your hotel. Grab a dozen shuck-your-own oysters and enjoy the water view.

Odd Alewives Farm Brewery

Odd Alewives Farm Brewery

99 Old Route One, Waldoboro, ME 04572

Also great to hit on the drive up to Rockland. A seasonal brewery and wood-fired kitchen serving REALLY good pizzas.

McLoons Lobster Shack

McLoons Lobster Shack

315 Island Road, South Thomaston, ME 04858

Located on the end of Spruce Head island and voted the #1 lobster roll in Maine (yeah). This is also down the street from our home, so make sure to stop by on your way!

Sammy's Deluxe

Sammy's Deluxe

488 Main Street, Rockland, ME 04841

“A simple, little Maine restaurant” and our all-time favorite. Only a few daily menu items that Sammy designs based on seasonal ingredients + a great beer/wine/natural wine selection. No reservations, and he’ll probably vibe you when you come in.

Nina June

Nina June

24 Central Street, Rockport, ME 04856

Take the finest Maine has to offer, then give it a fresh, tasty Mediterranean spin! Small + cozy with weekly menus posted on Instagram each week. Make a reservation (perhaps after the welcome party!) Located one town north in the very charming Rockport.

Costa Media

Costa Media

50 Elm Street, Camden, ME 04843

Brand new and very cozy, casual spot located in Camden open for Lunch + Happy Hour + Dinner.

Suzuki's Sushi Bar

Suzuki's Sushi Bar

419 Main Street, Rockland, ME 04841

A favorite, and also one of the highest rated sushi restaurants in Maine. Make a reservation! Located in downtown Rockland.

Beth's Farm Market

Beth's Farm Market

1986 Western Road, Warren, ME 04864

A perfect family-owned market that carries produce straight from their farm, speciality baked-goods, and fresh seafood.

First Fig

First Fig

31 Elm Street, Camden, ME 04843

Small + delicious wine bar on the main street of Camden. Easy to stop in as you explore down town.

Rockland

Rockland, ME

Our hometown! If you have time, visit the Farnsworth museum which is recognized as one of the best American art collections in the nation and boasts a huge collection of Andrew Wyeth. Also home to many boutiques, wine bars, and restaurants.

Camden

Camden, ME

One of the most beautiful towns on the East Coast. Camden is the next major town from Rockland and is loaded with waterfront restaurants, bars, and shops. Camden Hills State Park is beautiful for hiking trails!
