We’re getting married!

Colin told me that we had a tour of the Capitol which was supposed to be a “touristy” activity in Washington DC prior to moving to Fairfax, VA. It was a rainy day, so his plan of proposing in front of the cherry blossoms made him go to plan B - the Library of Congress. Thankfully, I have the poorest sense of direction and thought we were just taking a detour to the Capitol. As we were walking to “the Capitol” he proposed, and of course the sun came out! Colin had a new white dress and shoes for me in the car to change into (in the car) and we did our engagement shoot right after in the Library of Congress. In the evening, we had a lovely dinner at Le Diplomat in DC followed by a surprise engagement party at the restaurant we had our first date! Good job Colin.
