We met as children attending The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith with our families. As we got older we became friends hanging out in the same circle of friends and cousins. We tried dating in our twenties and again in our early thirties. However, it was not time. God said not yet. He had other plans for us. We now see we both had work to do on ourselves and lessons to learn in life before we could come together. The third time was and is the charm! We talked, worked out together, spent time together, and love came rushing in. Now, here we are ready and excited to spend our days together worshipping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and enjoying each precious moment He gives us together on his blessed earth.
David invited Kelli over to watch a movie. Little did she know David and his sister, Aleia, had arranged a beautiful setting for David to propose. When Kelli arrived she first noticed a bed of roses leading from the door to the dining room, ending in a heart shape, in front of beautiful bag lights that spelled out "Marry Me?" On a stand in front of the table sat a bottle of Champagne, two glasses, and a beautiful engagement watch. David lead Kelli from the door to the stand and as he got down on one knee, he looked deeply into her eyes and said, "Kelli Racine Coles, I love you with all of my heart, you make me happier than I could have ever imagined, will you marry me?" Kelli looked down at David, with tears in her eyes and shook her head, "yes." The fiances embraced and kissed deeply as they thought about the love they have for one another and how wonderful it will be to spend their lives together.
