When I moved to Durham, I quickly found a great friend in Jordy. He has a deep knowledge of ACC sports and faithfully serves as a fantasy basketball commissioner, which always gives us something to talk about. I love hearing Jordy's thoughts and wisdom, which he then undermines by letting his kids hang around bad influences such as myself.

Tara aka Tap/Tappy - another freshman Carolina best friend! Tap was one of my first best friends at UNC and for us it was organic - we felt like cousins from the start. Tara is someone who has never met a stranger, she is warm, fun and never lacking a good story. She is my boogie shoes partner and my attorney - the best combo!

My older brother Philip has long put up with me in a loving and gracious way. Pugh family lore says that when I learned to crawl, I promptly crawled over to Philip and pulled him down. I can't believe I did that, given that Philip is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. I'm glad he's been in my life the whole way.

Mary Beth, my "MB" or "MMBA" is one of my oldest best friends from freshman year of High School. MB is unlike anyone I know, she is a true cheerleader for her people, she loves and celebrates them so well! Together we are loud, long winded and laughing non stop, typically over a 4 hour dinner.

Olivia aka Jackie or Jacks is my first and longest best friend from Kindergarten! We feel more like family as we spent more time at each others houses for sleepovers growing up. Plus, we went off to UNC together too. Jackie is one of the most thoughtful and kind people I know and I am so thankful to have grown up with her!

Isla is the daughter of Alex McCabe, one of my best friends from Carolina! Alex and I met at UNC freshman year and ended up being roommates as well! Alex is my favorite queso and margarita date, where we debrief and laugh through life! She is the best listener and her wit is unlike anyone I know! Watching Alex become a Mama and watching Isla grow up since birth has been so fun! Isla's personality comes from her Mama as she is smart, sassy and so fun! We are so excited to have her in the wedding as our flower girl!

Sam is the son of Kate and Jordy Prince. We have loved being a part of Sam's life since he was born and have loved seeing his personality come to life! Kate and Jordy are two of our best friends and having Sam in the wedding means so much to us. Hopefully there will be a ball at the end of the aisle as that is his current obsession - he is ready to play all sports! Sam is going to be a great ring bearer!

Lucy is the daughter of Victoria Brown, one of my best friends I met from Elon during our MBA program. Victoria and I became instant friends during a communication class and she survived being my roommate and official food taster when we traveled to Vietnam and China together. Victoria is one of my favorite people, she is the foodie and travel queen, she is adventurous, a boss babe and I love talking with her about all the things! Watching her become a Mama with Lucy has been so fun! Lucy is just like her Mama - loves to dance, she is a strong independent woman who is not afraid to make her mark in day care and we are so thrilled to have her in our wedding as our flower girl!
