Cole and I met when he was a freshman and I was a sophomore in Highschool. We had a mutual friend (Ruthie Ross, bridesmaid) who set us up. At first, it was nothing too serious because who is looking for a lifelong relationship at 14 right?! We quickly became the best of friends and spent all our time together and had a ton of fun with both our friend groups who were also friends. We spent most of our young days at the skatepark in yukon, scorching hot and freezing cold, we were always there. We took a few month break away from eachother where we both grew a ton and finally realized we hated not being with eachother. When we crossed paths again, Cole had changed quite a bit and was in welding school and pursuing all his dreams. I was a freshman in college at UCO still figuring out what I wanted to do. From then on, its been smooth sailing (with a few small bumps, of course) and I literally could not be more proud of everything we have produced as a couple.

I finally thought it was time to tie the knot after a loving 6 years. Some people may think we are young to be getting married but I know that theres no one I’d rather spend my life with. I thought there wouldn’t be a better time to do it but when we finally bought our first house. Her ring was her dads moms diamond and then redeisgned by her mom 20 years ago. I proposed on May 29th when we first got the keys to the house. A very exiting day that couldn’t have gone better.

We recently bought our first house and fixed it up all by ourselves. We plan to live in it for a year or two then rent it out and do this again. Hopefully we can gather some houses that have our personal touch and make this our side job. I’m on my last year of college at UCO. When I graduate, I plan on finding a job news reporting or anchoring. Cole has worked as a welder for the oil field for three years since he graduated highschool. He is now pursuing other trades such as remodeling and carpentry (hardest worker I know). Cole has no fears and literally pursues (and succeeds) at anything he wants. We are parents to our sweetest almost two year old puppy, Arrow.
