The venue is about 9 miles away from the church and about a 15 minutes drive.

What are the driving conditions to the venue?

Answer

The last 1/2 mile of the trip from the church to the venue is on a dirt road. They maintain the road very well but use caution with the type of vehicle you choose to drive.

What are some activities/site seeing to do in the area?

- Solomons Island has a number of great restaurants, bars and shops. It also provides a beautiful location to walk along the pier and see the Patuxent River. - The Naval Air Station Museum is located right outside the base with many historical aircraft to see - St. Mary's Historic City is a short drive south to see Maryland's first capital from 1634-1695. Also, explore beautiful St. Mary's College along the Potomac River.

The reception and venue will be indoors with cocktail hour outdoors (weather permitting).

When will reception end? Is there an after party?

The reception will end at 10 pm. The after party will immediately follow at Olde Town Pub in downtown Leonardtown.
