Question

What should I wear and is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding will be formal/semi-formal. example: dresses for women below the knees, (no short dresses per the resort) and for men button down, tie, suit jacket (optional). The resort does not allow men to wear sandals of any kind at the wedding. Women can wear heels, wedges, flats, but no beach sandals. (again this is the resort's rule)

What color(s) do I need to avoid?

Answer

The bride and groom kindly ask guests not to wear white and or champagne of any shade.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:00pm on Saturday September 21, 2024. Please arrive no later than 2:30pm to ensure the ceremony starts on time. There will be a wedding coordinator the day of letting us know where everyone should meet. More details to follow.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The resort is family friendly and we would love to see your children around the resort or at the pool, but we have chosen the wedding to be an adult's only affair.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Although we would love to accommodate everyone and their plus one there is a strict limit on the guest count for the ceremony and reception. Please refer to the RSVP tab and your invitation.

Is the wedding going to be outside or on the beach?

Answer

We are planning for our wedding to be outside, but not on the beach.

Are we registered anywhere?

Answer

Instead of gifts, we would appreciate a contribution to our honeymoon fund. Please see the registry tab.

What should I pack?

Answer

First and foremost please DO NOT forget your passport. Recommended packing list to get you started: sunscreen, sun hat, bug spray, ibuprofen, cold medicine, small beach bag, and pool floats.

Can I drink the water in the Dominican?

Answer

NO!!!! Please only drink bottled water so you do not get sick. They even recommend using bottled water to brush your teeth. Every room has a mini-fridge that will be stocked daily with bottled water and assortments.

Is this resort really all inclusive?

Answer

YES everything is included...even your mini-bar and mini-fridge which will be restocked daily. If you booked an excellence or finest club room you will receive one complimentary hydrotherapy session at the spa. Don't forget to use it before you leave!

Is there a dress code for the resorts restaruants?

Answer

Breakfast and lunch: Casual, no bathing suits, footwear required Casual dinner: long pants, capris, skirt, dress, collarless shirt, or polo Elegant dinner: long dress pants for men, collared shirt (no beach sandal or flip flops) For ladies long pants, capris, blouse, or dress Casual shoes or elegant sandals
