Cody and Katie spent their lives intertwining. From their younger days going to the same Chuck E Cheese in Dublin, CA; to ending up at the same high school. They reconnected on February 27, 2017 at a local Mariposa bar. They spent almost every day together until the end of April when Katie left for Skagway. They decided to give long distance a shot since it would only be for the summer. Fate was on their side. Katie returned to Cody in August of 2017 and moved in during March 2018. Cody proposed to Katie on Baker Beach in San Francisco, November 17, 2018. She said yes. They enjoyed a long engagement and found the perfect day to be married. October 31, 2020. The world had other plans. They held out as long as they could, hoping they would be able to bring everyone together safely to celebrate. Cody and Katie decided to have a small ceremony with family members on October 31, 2020 in Yosemite National Park.

Dear Family and Friends, We hope you and yours are healthy and safe during this time and although the COVID-19 crisis has created much uncertainty... We will be happily proceeding with our reception on October 30, 2021. Understanding that the situation is in constant flux, we feel that it will be safe to gather and celebrate with help and understanding from you, our guests, and please know that your safety is our greatest concern as you are all so very important to us. To begin with, we will host you at our beautiful outdoor venue, please be mindful of the weather and dress accordingly (no stilettos unless your intention is aerating the grass)... And you may want to bring a wrap as our foothills enjoy cooler evenings. Venue staff will wear masks. Masks and hand sanitizer will be readily available for our guests as well as colored wristbands that will help with determining what your guest interaction comfort level is. Even with these precautions we ask that you please minimize handshakes, hugs and simply social distance as needed. We understand human contact is something that is missed, but the risk can be high... And please know that we completely understand if you are not comfortable gathering at this time.
