Well we both swiped right, which lead to a few dates of questioning is he cute, weird, should I text him back after our first date? Luckily Cody was a gentleman on the first date and was very sweet and polite. I learned very quickly into our relationship that Cody takes his bow hunting very seriously and I think Cody found out even faster how serious I am about my horses. Luckily for both of us we continued hanging out and seeing each other. We fell in love and almost three years later we are engaged and four years later we will be married! We are so excited to start a new future together! So happy to have all of you share in our special day.

We talked about getting engaged so I got my great great aunts ring fitted and waited patiently.... I lied, I am not a patient person. However, I booked us a trip at Elk Lake Lodge for a nice getaway for Cody and I. We had rentals to go snowmobiling however, with my luck the mountain decided to not snow. We still made the best of it by playing games inside and enjoying some yummy cocktails. We then went out to a nice dinner, where there was already another couple at the restaurant. Cody is so shy so of course with another couple being there he slightly got down on his knee and proposed at the dinner table. I had to laugh because I didn't expect it due to us both being on the shy side. I figured he would be proposing out on the dock or the lake side in privacy. However, it was beautiful and I said YES!
