Traveling from Connecticut & New York
CT and NY to Bar Harbor, ME is roughly 7 hours (with rest stops) via car! You will avoid Boston by cutting through Worcester. Flights from Newark, JFK, or La Guardia to Bangor, ME are about 1.5 hours. The Bangor International Airport has rental car facilities. Bangor Airport is a 1.5 hour drive from Bar Harbor.

Traveling from North Carolina
Flights from RDU to Boston-Logan Airport are direct and about 1.5 hours long. It is a 5 hour drive from Boston-Logan airport to Bar Harbor, ME. Flights from RDU to Bangor AirPort will have a layover in NYC or Philadelphia. Driving from Raleigh to Bar Harbor is about 16 hours.

Traveling from Texas & Oklahoma
Flights from Dallas or Oklahoma City to Portland,ME are available with both nonstop and 1-stop options. Car rental is available at the Portland Jet Port. Flights from Dallas or Oklahoma City to Boston will be slightly cheaper but will also have a 5 hour drive to Bar Harbor. You could take a 1 hour flight from Boston to Bar Harbor via Cape Air! Car rental is available at Boston Logan Airport

Bangor International Airport Closed 6/16-6/18
The Bangor International Airport will be closed June 16th - 18th for runway repairs. Flights to Bangor International Airport from outside of New England are limited and will most likely have a layover in NYC or Philadelphia.
