We're getting married - FINALLY!!!

After two years of casual texting/hanging out at work, an oblivious Aidan met Bridget for dinner on Mackinac (he was living downstate at the time, and Bridget was working on the island). They instantly realized their connection was worth exploring, and within a week Aidan asked Bridget to be his girlfriend. Obviously, she said no. After going to a 4th of July bbq with friends of theirs, Bridget asked Aidan out on a real date - ya know, as boyfriend and girlfriend.

Bridget had one request when Aidan began planning to "pop the big question": include the horses somehow. Aidan planned a trail ride with Blaze and Arlo (the best chestnut boys!) to Sunset Rock on Mackinac Island, planning the timing perfectly so we were able to see the beginning of the sunset. With the boys being wonderful attendants (and Rachael hiding in the bushes with a camera!) Aidan, got down on one knee... Oh, and he even had fireworks planned for that evening ;)
