Fellow UTK graduate and besties since 2012, Kt moved to Springfield in August 2022 to be near. Her obsession with Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and reading had endeared her to Chelsea in the best ways possible. A nurse with a stupid amount of knowledge about dogs and fandoms made her weird enough to deal with the weirdness of Chelsea. Sweet, funny, and always up for whatever crazy ideas come along, Kt is the catalyst for all great ideas.

Kel (aka "Deek") is Austin's buddy. Austin met Kel in 5th grade.
Laura Legg

Laura was Chelsea's first roommate during graduate school. Also a UTK graduate, Laura was Chelsea's introduction to the southern charm of country music and line dancing. Responsible for introducing Kt and Chelsea, the three would spend hundreds of hours at the Cotton Eyed Joe on Sundays, two-stepping their way through their early twenties. A nurse with the heart of a traveler, Laura has been the rock that has anchored Chelsea's love for Tennessee.

Sarah Adams
Bridesmaid
Sarah, without a doubt, is the sweetest and kindest wannabe mob boss you will ever meet. She can sarcastically tear you down and immediately apologize for potentially hurting your feelings. The head curator at the Edwards Place Historic Home, she and Chelsea met because of an archaeology project related to the House. Becoming instantly friends, Sarah hosted Starfall at the Edwards Place where Austin and Chelsea reconnected. Ask her anything about Jane Austen and her cats and you will be struck dumb with how wonderful she is.

Katie Brethorst-Stockwell

Katie was the very first person that Chelsea met when she moved to Springfield and is single-handedly responsible for connecting half this bridal party together. Her loyalty, passion, and historical knowledge are invaluable to her friendship with Chelsea. Now that Katie lives in Chicago, she and Chelsea get together for author signings and work through their ever growing TBR list of classics.

Rebekah Hecht

Rebekah and Chelsea met at the start of the pandemic when the world shut down and get togethers could only happen in safe spaces. They bonded over Outlander and history, easily falling down the rabbit hole of good stories. Rebekah is the leading expert in anything Tudor related, White Shoal Lighthouse, or Mackinac Island. Meet with her for coffee and her dog and you will have the coziest meetup. Wear red and she will become your best friend, too.

Yekaterina "Kat" Pruitt

One of the most colorful and bright people you will ever meet, Kat is the human equivalent of a glitter bomb—explosive personality, slightly destructive, and full of glittering originality. Fellow archaeologist, hilarious, and quick with her wit, Kat will do just about anything for the bit and isn't afraid to play the long game for a gag. She is wonderfully obsessed with her cat, Vasya, and will show you pictures if you ask. Cross any of her friends, though, and she will come at you at the ankles.

Erik (aka "Erik Allen from O'Fallon") is Austin's buddy. Austin met Erik in freshman year of college.
Megan Dudley

Megan and Chelsea have Austin to thank for introducing the two of them. Though Austin's friend from childhood, she and Chelsea quickly connected and geeked over their mutual love of Harry Potter and anything literary. She is quick with her help, kindness, and is loyal beyond anything for her "boys" (the perfect traits for her Hufflepuff house). She was readily accepting of Chelsea and the bride is exceedingly in awe of how lucky she is to have found such a sweet friend. Her husband, Logan, is one of Austin's groomsmen.

Cameron Novak

Cameron is Chelsea's oldest friend. Back in the olden days of Florida living, the two met shortly after Chelsea's family moved to Cameron's neighborhood when they were both four years old. Complete opposites in temperament, they still managed to bond and keep their friendship for over thirty years. Their mutual love of Harry Potter (Cameron a kind Hufflepuff and Chelsea a Slytherin) always keeps mischief managed. Though Cameron stayed in Florida with her wonderful family that has blossomed into something beautiful and Chelsea has lived in too many states to list, they always keep their friendship strong.

With cheeks that you just want to eat up, Lyvia and Riley are the adorable girls of one of Austin's best friends from college, Jessica. Curious, sassy, and fearless, Lyvia and Riley were the perfect addition to this wedding and will brings smiles to everyone's faces.
