Known for the best coffee in the area! However, our favorite is their milky smooth hot chocolate! You will find a Tim Hortons on almost any corner in the Buffalo area.

This is our "go to" for the best smoothies and acai or pitaya bowls. We love the "Twist-N-Shout" smoothie or "Afternoon Delight" bowl. If you are a chocolate lover you must try the "Landslide" bowl. They also have Wellness Shots and healthy pre-made salads. Don't miss this place!

Lake Effect Ice Cream
Located about 5 minutes from my parents home, this location is right along the famous Erie Canal and Lockport Locks. This is all homemade, artisan, ice cream that is owned and operated by two local teachers. A favorite flavor of ours is the Peanut Butter Epiphany and the Sponge Candy (also a local favorite candy). If in Buffalo, there is also a second location on Hertel Avenue.
Lockport Locks - Historic Erie Canal
Where else can you go in our nation to see re-watered, 19th Century Erie Canal Locks with massive, wooden manually-operated gates and balance beams located alongside a currently operating canal system? Only in Lockport! Don't forget to check out Lake Effect Ice Cream right beside the Locks.
