With two mutual swipes to the right came our first date, which was for a cup of coffee after work. What we both expected to be a quick meeting turned into a few hours of laughing and nerdy conversation of getting to know each other. This led to many more dates from ice skating, meeting penguins at the aquarium, and the forcing many of horror movies on Clint. Then, after Davey's much persistence, on October 3rd Clint finally asked him to be his boyfriend. A few years later, on the same date, we can not wait to celebrate with our family and friends as we begin a new chapter from Boyfriends to Fiancés to Husbands!

Before the pandemic Davey knew he wanted to propose. After making a plan to pop the question at Taylor Swift's Lover Fest, and picking a ring, everything shut down! After many cancelled, changed, and re-plans he finally found a plan that worked. On the day the cancelled concert was supposed to happen Davey had The Florida Aquarium play the song Lover by Taylor Swift in the main shark room. That is where he proposed to Clint in front of a few friends and family. Davey anxiously waited Clint's reply when Clint asked "What do I do?" Davey said "You could answer the question, I'm dying down here!" Clint finally said "YES!"
