Growing up in a small Community-- Everyone knew Everyone; near and far. Clayton and I grew up 20 minutes apart, and had always seen one another from a Distance. It wasn't until one Summer night, we were out in the sand dunes when we initially Connected. It may have been the alcohol, the cool air, or the tunes that made the night last forever; but we partied on into the morning light and the rest is history. Clayton was hooked. There were a series of Cat and Mouse games that took place over the next Couple of Years-- until we finally Decided that 'Together" was our Favourite Place.
10 Years in the Making.. Clay was never one for BIG Surprises. He always itched for more information, details and my opinion on various aspects throughout our years together. I had suspected a proposal was coming, but never knew it would take place one quiet morning in our home together. Still, I remember this day so vividly. We were getting ready for brunch. I had worked out, and jumped the shower while Clayton left to a hair cut. I got dressed, and was waiting for Clay. 90 Minutes after he left for a "Mens Hair Cut" there was still no sign of him. So I did what any reasonable person would do when there "Hangry" and I called him... No Answer. Clay got home, quite some time later, came upstairs -- said "Ohh, you look Nice, I better change my shirt." I was just adding another spray of Perfume when Clay yelled from downstairs, 'Okk B, Lets go." While I was on my way down, I turned the corner and in our perfectly quiet home, Clay was down on one knee asking me, "Well will You?
