Beauvert Lake
Lac Beauvert is located on the property of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and offers canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. There are also many trails on the property that loop around the lake for stunning views.
Maligne Canyon
One of the most spectacular gorges in the Canadian Rockies, sheer limestone walls plunge to depths of over 50 metres. An interpretive trail winds it’s way from the picnic area across six bridges where you can catch the spray from the thundering Maligne River. 11 kilometres from Fairmont Jasper Lodge.
Jasper SkyTram
Boasting some of the best views in the Rockies, this tramway delivers on its promise. You'll gaze out on lakes, mountains and the town itself from a vantage point of more than 2,263 metres above sea level. The ride, in a 26 passenger tramcar, lasts seven minutes. When you arrive at the upper station, you're free to wander along the boardwalk or hike the 1.4 km trail to Whistlers Summit. Located 13.7 kilometers (8.5 miles) southwest of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
Downtown Jasper
Located just 12 minutes west of Jasper Fairmont Lodge, explore the restaurants and shops of downtown Jasper for a full Rocky Mountain adventure. Check out some of our favourite shops of downtown including Beavertails, Bombshell Boutique Jasper, Jasper Brewing Company, and Jasper Pizza Place.
