I remember the first time we met, we hated each other. Our first conversation was an argument. He thought I was some fragile, rich "Princess" that wasn't cut out to work at Lake Almanor PD. I thought he was an arrogant asshole half the time. I remember one time I had to ride home with him because ("It's not safe to walk home alone at night Clarke.") he thought I was a defenseless damsel that he needed to rescue. As much as he said he hated me he was always the first to protect me when he felt like I was in danger. Somehow as the days turned into weeks and weeks into months our mutual hatred became grudging respect and eventually love. However, we were both too stubborn to acknowledge it. Octavia my friend and Bellamy's little sister would frequently bring it up in conversation. ("There's something I thought I'd never see." "Just because you're in love with Clarke doesn't mean I have to be.") A few months after Octavia declared he was in love with me I was attacked and hospitalized in Mt. Weather Hospital. I woke up after being in a coma for three months to find Bellamy Blake, my co-worker and my best friend holding onto my hand with tears streaming down his face. ("I thought I lost you, Clarke...
