When should I RSVP by?

We ask that you please RSVP by July 15, 2024.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at The Courtyard St Joseph & Benton Harbor at 1295 Cinema Way, Benton Harbor, MI 49022. They can be contacted at 269-210-3000. All bookings must be made by July 31st to receive the discounted room price. We have a block set aside for September 5th and 6th so that you can book a room for either a king or queen suite for one or both of those nights. Just let them know this is for the Rowland wedding when you call.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6 pm. We will have beverages for guests to grab beforehand, so please feel free to arrive around 5 pm if you would like to enjoy the grounds and have a drink before the evening begins, but we do ask for a 5:45 arrival at the latest.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail/formal - whichever you are comfortable in. Keep in mind the majority of the reception will be outside. There is a dancefloor, but lots of grassy areas too. Wide heels may be best!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have been provided with a guest on your invitation, you are more than welcome to bring a date! Give us their name when you RSVP so we can make sure to have it.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Going to weddings is one of my (Hannah's) favorite childhood memories, and I can't imagine not having all of your little ones enjoying the night alongside us! Keep in mind that there will still be adult-only activities, so bring them at your discretion. We will have an adult-only area as well as a fun child area with games and activities. Please make sure to let us know if they will be joining you or not when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

We will be getting married at The River Boardwalk located in Benton Harbor. This is quintessential Michigan, located right on the St. Joe river and tucked away in a marshy forest area. Feel free to check them out on IG @theriverboardwalk
