Stephen + Claire originally met way back in 2008 when they were camp counselors for the summer at Camp Stella Maris. Just friends at the time, they both went their separate ways through college, bumping into each other on occasion over holiday breaks. Fast forward to 2016 when they are both single and living in Rochester. Fate brought them together when they both swiped right on Bumble. Stephen invited Claire for drinks and live music (of course) at Abilene and they've been together ever since!

Claire and Stephen planned a camping trip in the Adirondacks with their good friends. They had a cozy cabin for all six of them, some rowdy neighbors, and a beautiful view. Saturday morning the crew hiked up Black Bear Mountain. It took about two hours to get to the top where they enjoyed beers and turkey sandwiches. Stephen asked Claire if she wanted to take a walk over to the other side of the summit to check out the view. When they found a quiet place, he gave the sweetest proposal. Claire immediately said yes and Stephen's glasses may have fogged up. They came back to cheers from the group and hugs all around. After some pictures and Facetiming their entire family, they headed back down the mountain. It was the best weekend ever!
