Black-Tie Optional For gentlemen: a tuxedo is welcome (if you have one!) or a suit, formal shoes and a tie/bowtie. For ladies: long dresses or formal cocktail dresses. It's a summer wedding so color is encouraged!
While we love children, our wedding is an adult-only event (ceremony + reception). We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time.
We will be providing transportation from Santa Monica (ceremony) to Malibu (reception) and back. Driving through the canyon can be difficult at night, and the reception can make calling a car service tricky. Even if you aren't staying at a hotel, we kindly request that you take advantage of the provided shuttles.
A rental car is not required to enjoy our wedding festivities. We are providing transportation for all guests to + from the reception in Malibu. The recommended lodging locations are all short walks from the ceremony at St. Monica Catholic Church.
Our ceremony will be indoors at St. Monica Catholic Church. Our cocktail hour and reception will take place outside in Malibu. Note, there will not be a tent for the outside portion.
The average weather in Malibu in July is typically sunny with temperatures ranging between mid-70's to mid-80's. Worth noting that once the sun sets around 8pm, the Malibu breeze can cool things down a bit.
After the ceremony at St. Monica Catholic Church, the bridal party will head directly to Cielo Farms for pictures. Guests will have approximately one hour of downtime before shuttles will depart to transport all guests from the pick-up point (The Huntley Hotel) to the reception at exactly 3pm.
We have made lodging recommendations on the Travel page, but do not have formal room blocks. While our suggested lodging locations correspond with the provided transportation for the wedding activities, you are welcome to stay anywhere that you feel most comfortable.
Your invitation will be clearly addressed to you and your significant other or it will state "and guest". We cannot accommodate more guests on the big day, so please accept our sincere apologies.
We definitely want to make sure that you are able to enjoy your meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.
