Playing Golf at Kiawah
Some of our favorite memories have been playing golf down in Kiawah - especially when we both parred the infamous 17th hole at the Ocean Course in May 2023. There are four gorgeous public golf courses on island (Cougar, Osprey, Turtle and Ocean). Stay tuned for tee time booking information.
Kiawah Beaches
Kiawah is known for its hard sand beaches that are ideal for biking, walking, running, and in Jon's case, proposing to Claire! You can rent bikes by the day at the Sanctuary.
Grabbing a Bite
Some of our favorite spots to grab a bite on the island are The Ryder Cup Bar at the Ocean Course, Beaches and Cream (coffee and ice cream shop) at the Sanctuary, and The Nest in East Beach. The Nest also has some drug store items as well as Kiawah merch. Right off the island is Freshfields Village where there are numerous dining options and shops. There's also a Harris Teeter for those of you renting villas looking to stock up on groceries. Some of our favorite spots are Hege's, Cantina 76, FortyEight Wine Bar and King Street Grille.
