In honor and in loving memory of Claire’s father, we recommend taking the Saturday afternoon of June 15th to enjoy yourself at the Tulsa Flea Market. Claire and her father spent many Saturday’s here, and it holds a special place in her heart due to the fond memories she shared here with her father for many years. Her father was an avid antique collector and took pride in passing on his wide knowledge of these unique and authentic items to Claire from her early childhood to her mid-teenage years. Her father visited the Tulsa Flea Market so often for several years that everyone knew him by name. One woman even named her cat after Claire’s father because she thought he was so funny and charming. Claire still carries on this Saturday tradition as often as she can, while she fondly remembers her Dad, keeping an eye out for “treasures”. Please take the time to think of Claire’s father as he will be deeply missed on their special day and every day to come.

In honor and in loving memory of Claire’s mother, we recommend stopping by Sweet Tooth Candy & Gifts. (Of course to get your candy or cute trinket fix before or after your trip to the Tulsa Flea Market!) Claire & her mother shopped here often when they had their “mom & daughter Saturday’s”. Claire’s mother thoroughly enjoyed making customized and one of a kind jewelry; it was her way of creating her own beautiful art. She loved being able to wear her creations and strike up a conversation anytime someone noticed her unique pieces. She was known for being everyone’s best friend and making everyone feel as if they had known her for twenty years, in just a short two minute conversation. Although Claire enjoyed these trips, she mostly went for the chocolate covered cherries. Please take the time to think of Claire’s mother, as she will be deeply missed on their special day and every day to come.
