We met on the first day of the Paramount Pictures internship program in Hollywood during the summer of 2018. We were put in the same group for a group project and started to talk and hang out more. We went on our first date in Santa Monica, hit it off, and haven't looked back since.

In traditional Evan fashion, a date night to Santa Monica pier, where Tiffany and Evan had their first date, was suggested last minute with little time to plan. Evan was acting very strange that day and had specific instructions to which he was sticking (this was very unusual for someone who usually "wings it"). After arriving at the beach and finding parking in a certain lot, Evan and Tiffany began walking towards the pier and Evan kept peering towards the water. Little did Tiffany know he was looking for a beach proposal that had already been set up. After he spotted the set up, he insisted on going in the water. Tiffany thought this was a strange idea and offered push back because that day an e coli warning had been issued for SoCal beaches and after all, they were dressed up to go to dinner with nice clothes on. After successfully convincing her walk towards the water, Evan stopped halfway in front of a blanket and a sign that read "Tiffany will you marry me?". He then took a knee to Tiffany's surprise. Tiffany was shocked and after she realized what was happening said yes!! Later that night they celebrated at a very nice high end restaurant on the 26th floor overlooking Santa Monica.
