Cinthia and Jeffrey met the day after Valentine’s Day in 2020. Both were out with their group of friends at a social event. Jeffrey spotted Cinthia and introduced himself. They talked for the remainder of the event, getting to know each other and exchanged numbers. A few weeks later, their first exchange since meeting was Jeffrey texting Cinthia wishing her a Happy Birthday. They scheduled a date then had lunch on March 5th, 2020. The Pandemic hit shortly after but Jeffrey and Cinthia remained in contact via texting, calling, and FaceTime for a few months. That communication led to a bond and friendship. On June 20th, 2020, Covid restrictions began to loosen in New York City. They decided to hang out in the city for a walk in the park… LITERALLY! They spent the whole day walking in Manhattan, talking, sitting near the pier, grabbing small bites to eat and they even had a glass of wine together before departing. Jeffrey took Cinthia to a winery on July 3rd, 2020. After parking the car, Jeffrey walked around and opened the door for Cinthia to get out. Once Cinthia stepped out of the car, she kissed Jeffrey. That was their first kiss! They continued this romance throughout the summer. Wining and Dining for breakfasts, brunches, lunches, dinners, and many dates. On the afternoon of September 18th, 2020, Cinthia and Jeffrey had lunch in New York City. He mustered up the courage to ask Cinthia to be his girlfriend. Cinthia said, “It took you long enough.” She was anticipating that moment. The day after Christmas in 2020, Cinthia met Jeffrey’s son Jaylen for the first time. They had breakfast at one of Jeffrey and Jaylen’s favorite café restaurants in Long Island. Jaylen and Cinthia has been inseparable since. Cinthia and Jeffrey’s love story has grown and evolved over the years. Jeffrey surprised Cinthia on December 23rd, 2023 with an engagement ring while surrounded by their family and a few friends. It brings us all together for their Union scheduled on November 16th, 2024. It’s a sacrifice to attend the wedding; but you are all invited because you’ve played a part in their story.
