Our love story started from a romantic, wordless introduction through a food court window orchestrated by Cierra’s sister McKenna. Though no words were exchanged, we both knew our paths were meant to cross that day. Days turned into months and those months turned into the most vibrant years of our lives. A fire was lit that day we met, and it has only burned brighter since.

Throughout the many hikes and adventures we’ve experienced together, both of our favorites is the Long Lake Loop trail in Graeagle, CA. Knowing how special this place is to us both, Bryce booked a surprise weekend getaway there filled with our favorite things to do. On the first day, we ventured on to the trailhead. Underneath the very trees that we shared much of our love story beneath, Bryce got down on one knee (full 90 degrees of course), took my breath away, and asked to spend forever with me. I paused to take a mental photo of that moment before jumping into his arms and screaming YES! That weekend beneath the trees will live forever in our hearts.
