A change of clothes and a fun spirit. The weather throughout the weekend may change drastically. We recommend lots of layers, a bathing suit, and a pair of boots for mucking about!
For the welcome party think smart casual/cocktail attire, without being overly dressy - or overly casual. Chinos or suit pants with a button down, or a summery dress or skirt are great options. The wedding will take place outside and in a tent. We ask our guests to dust off their favorite summer suit or evening dress! Black tie is not required, but please be formally dressed. Please continue to check the weather and plan accordingly!
Unfortunately, the amount of guests we can invite is limited. If we didn't explicitly include a "plus one" with your invitation then the answer is no. Please reach out to us separately if you have any questions.
Even though there will be a few children from the immediate family at the wedding, this is mostly an adults only reception. Take this opportunity to have a night out on us!
Jay Peak Resort offers a free shuttle around the resort, and we will have a shuttle service for your transportation to and from the wedding. However, if you are planning on using Uber or Lyft think again. There is no Uber, Lyft, or taxi service in the area. We strongly recommend renting a car for you to use throughout the weekend.
As we are not hosting a "goodbye brunch" on Sunday morning, we suggest checking out Martha's Diner in Coventry, The Brown Cow or The Eastside in Newport, The Jay Country Store in Jay, or Hoagies of North Troy if you are in a rush.
Places close early, both on and off the resort, so we suggest hitting a grocery store on your way up to the Northeast Kingdom before arriving at the resort to keep the party going!
