There is no longer a mask mandate in the city of Indianapolis though it is pretty common to see hospitality employees and other people in public spaces wearing masks. Our case counts and hospitalizations have dropped dramatically since early 2022. You can find up-to-date stats here: https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/indiana-covid-19-dashboard-and-map/
All air travelers must show proof of a negative COVID viral test taken not more than one day before you fly. Find updated information here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/ea/requirements-for-air-travelers-to-the-us.html
The easiest place to stay is at Bottleworks Hotel, where all the action is. If you'd rather stay elsewhere there are lots of downtown hotels within a 5-10 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk. There are also lots of options on Airbnb, if you wanna keep it chill.
If you are staying downtown, everything is within walking distance and ride sharing services are readily available. However, if you want to venture farther outside downtown, renting a car might be a good idea.
If your wallet feels strongly about purchasing something to celebrate our marriage, please make a donation to Friends of IACS: https://friendsofindyacc.org/ (this is where Kristin volunteers and where Bdog and Boomer spent many months) or your favorite local animal shelter.
Bottleworks Hotel is a nearly century-old converted Coca-Cola bottling factory. The original art deco motif was preserved and the boutique hotel boasts historic features and a trendy vibe. Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors and the entire facility is wheelchair accessible. P.S. The hotel is pet-friendly!
Beautiful! Highs are usually around 75 F/21 C and lows are usually around 52 F/12 C. Bring a light jacket for evenings outside and enjoy the warmth during the day.
Duh. The hotel has a nail salon on the first floor, Woodhouse Day Spa is next door, and there is a Drybar across the street. Pamper away!
