Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony is at Union United Church of Christ located at 5733 Oak St Bascom. The reception is located at The Redwood Historic Ballroom at Meadowbrook at 5430 Tiffin St Bascom.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony is at 4:00 PM and the receptions is to follow

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

There is no dress code.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

The end of April can be wet, but it is Ohio and the weather can change. We suggest checking with the local weather channel.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding and reception will be indoors.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures. Guests can drive over to the reception hall (about 2 minutes away) where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 6 pm, with dancing to follow

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We sure hope you’ll be able to join us for your special day. With your invitation, there is an RSVP card that you can fill out and return, a QR code for your to scan, and under the RSVP tab.

Please get us your RSVP by March 1st, so we have time to buy enough booze.

Can I bring my kids?

We’ve chosen to limit our guest list to sixteen-year-olds and over, and we hope you understand.

Absolutely, we want you to have a fun.

I can’t attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

No, it will not be streamed.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

We do not, however Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn is located in Tiffin.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will have a nacho cheese river with delicious snacks to dip and veggies and dip during cocktail hour, followed by a Mexican buffet and 4 different flavors of cupcakes for dessert.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, drinks are on us the hangover is on you.

Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?

Answer

We are not registered, your presence is gift enough to us. If you feel you must give us something a contribution to our honeymoon would be appreciated.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #ReadySetRau so we can see them, too! We also have a digital frame that we would love for your to contribute to the email is crau2023@mynicplay.com
