Zachary: "I saw this super handsome guy show up on a dating app one day and immediately knew I wanted to meet him. After being blown off for a couple of months, I had assumed he wasn't interested. One day, after apparently changing his mind, he invited me over. It was raining and my car was not running, but I wasn't going to miss my chance to meet an indifferent Christopher, so I hopped on my bike and got myself across Austin to finally meet this man. He soon became my best friend, my biggest supporter, and my rock through all the challenges one faces when a world-wide pandemic happens. I wasted a lot of time denying how special he was to me until I couldn't deny it anymore. Christopher was funny, caring, had amazing hair, and wanted to go on all these adventures with me. He was the total package and I couldn't be luckier to be calling this beautiful man my husband, my co-parent to our baby boy Charlie, my partner in life, and my family."
Christopher: After a year and a half of dealing with the pandemic, we decided to take a couple of months off from emergency medicine and go to Peru and immerse ourselves in nature. One of our stops was Gotca Waterfall, which is the tallest waterfall in Peru. After a four hour hike, we arrived at the base. I had been carrying the ring with me for 10 days waiting for the perfect time to pop the question. Zachary thought we were posing for a photo, but I had already talked to a girl that we met on the hike and had her start to film us. I had a very romantic speech planned out, but as I stood next to the man I love, my mind blanked and all I thought is, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" After ten seconds of a stunned look on Zachary's face, he finally said "YEAH!" I can't think of a better story....
