I moved into the house behind Chris's in 7th grade. Friends at first then we started dating July 15th, 2008 right before my freshman year and his junior year. Now almost 10 years later we are finally getting married!

We took an impromptu weekend trip to Branson, Mo the weekend of September 22nd-24th, 2017. We did all the activities we could do in our short weekend there. Each night Chris would try to get us to the lake. We could not find a road that would lead down all the way though. On our last day before we headed home we wanted to go to the zoo since this is my top favorite thing to do. On our way to the zoo after checking out from the hotel Chris said "lets see if this road goes down to the lake", of course though like many other's we drove and drove and it did not lead down all the way to the bottom. We came to a dead end and there was a beautiful sky so we got out to take pictures together before leaving, next thing you know I turned and there he was asking me to marry him.

Chris & Alyssa will be married in a private ceremony at their church on June 1st, 2018. They then will head to Playa del Carment, Mexico and have a private beach symbolic ceremony on June 4th, 2018 at sunset. The happy couple will return to celebrate with family and friends on June 16th, 2018.
